Envetec responds to Coronavirus Disease (COVID-19) risk

The Envetec 200 series hazardous waste management solution stops COVID-19 at its very source.

The novel human coronavirus, now termed COVID-19 by the World Health Organisation, has become a global health concern due to the extent of transmission of the disease as reported by the WHO.

Human coronaviruses such as the endemic human coronavirus, Severe Acute Respiratory (SARS) coronavirus, and Middle East Respiratory Syndrome (MERS) can persist and survive on inanimate surfaces like metal, glass or plastic for up to 9 days.

The cornoviruses can be efficiently inactivated by surface disinfection procedures. A solution containing a 0.5% concentration of hydrogen peroxide takes just 1 minute to completely eradicate the coronavirus.

The Envetec 200 series combines the complete maceration of hazardous healthcare facility waste with it's unique disinfection process, reducing it to safe domestic grade waste in minutes. The potential for spread of infectious viruses is stopped in its tracks.

The Envetec 200 series inactivates the novel Coronavirus (COVID-19), SARS, MES, H1N1, HIV, Hepatitis, Anthrax and Ebola and other infectious viruses.

We continue to encourage healthcare facilities, hospitals, laboratories, clinical centres, permanent and temporary NGO healthcare facilities on land and at sea, to contact Envetec now for delivery of their hazardous healthcare waste management solution.
